- The goals of the Space Portal are to promote the vision of the President, Congress and NASA for a self-sustaining commercial space economy by:
- Increasing customers and suppliers for space products and services.
- Accelerating affordable and responsive access to and from space for a broader community.
- Promoting space projects for economic and public benefit.
- Encouraging participation of non-traditional funding sources.
- Lowering the cost and improving the safety and reliability of commercial space development by facilitating NACA-style access to government expertise and test facilities - Requires a Friendly Front Door Approach.
