Mission

Mission to promote the development of the new commercial space economy.

The primary objective of the Space Portal Consortium is to promote the vision of the President, Congress and NASA for a self-sustaining commercial space economy by increasing customers and suppliers for space products and services. Thus, the Space Portal accelerates affordable and responsive access to and from space for a broader community thereby promoting space projects for economic and public benefit. The Space Portal stimulates opportunities for non-traditional funding sources to participate in commercial space activities leading to lower cost and improved safety and reliability of commercial space development.

The second objective is to increase the number of space flights per year by developing demand and aggregating payloads from multiple customer sources,increasing the pool of investors in space activities through pathfinder demonstrations and joint ventures.

The third objective is to train the next generation of space scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs through hands-on experiences.
